Used Computer with Wesmosis-need help

Hi,

Could someone tell me what the heck this Wesmosis is on the computer I bought? Some sort of OS tweak? It has some settings that really annoy me: numerals come up in arabic even after changing everything in MSWord, no ability to see "recent documents" in my start bar- even after editing the registry, and lots of other addons that I simply don't want or are preventing me form using some functions.

I bought this laptop used and it works great except for this damn Wesmosis. Can I remove it? How?If not, can I change the tweaks somehow?

Since the laptop is used I don't have an XP Cd to reboot XP from.

from what I can see wesmosis looks like an illegitimate copy of XP, as I find it on all of these torrent sites (and no "good looking" sites). It's been dubbed the intelligent XP or something. I also saw other forum posts with stuff like warez and stuff associated with this wesmosis.

I might be wrong, but that is what i found by typing wesmosis into Google. I also found a site on wesmosis in arabic...

I think it would be best to just buy windows XP.
