User Account problem

I was working on my dads computer. It was running EXTREMELY slow.
Sometimes it would take 10 minutes to open the control panel. Or any other program. I was at a loss on what to do.
I installed Kaspersky and did a scan.
I ran Cwshredder.
I ran hijackthis.
I ran ccleaner.
i ran spybot.
I ran Adaware.
Nothing major came up. I disabled all non essential programs.
Still no luck.
I created another user account and the computer ran great.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be happening?
And can I save this user account?

Something is slowing down your computer and since it's only for that account, there is probably a process running that you did not find. Can you post a screen shot of your running processes..
