Alright, so yesterday, I added 3 new users to my copy of XP Home, for a total of 4. Now, only two of the knew ones had been logged into after creating them. Now we come to the problem. After installing Office XP, I was going through the different users to make sure everything was working right with them. I tried to log onto the one which I hadn't yet, but it never got past Loading Personal Settings. It froze there for over an hour, so I manually shut down the pc (ugh). Now, when rebooted, I log onto it and it was the user couldn't connect to the network. I tried to delete the account through the control panel and that window froze, on multiple attempts and restarts. I made another new account to see if it happened again, and it did the exact same thing. Now mind you the two that i had logged onto still work perfectly fine. I don't know what to do. Any help would be much appreciated.

How might I go about doing that?

upon booting the machine, just after post and before the splash screen, hit F8. This will bring up the boot menu. Choose safe mode.

And so I would guess to get out of safe mode I would reboot, do the F8 thing, and choose normal?

for normal boot..just reboot like you do normally. No F8..

Well I have yet to try the Safe Mode option, because I just got home. THough, I tired the useres once again, and during the logging in, there is that tone which usually means something wrong, and when looged on, a window saying
C:\Documents and Settings\Kathy.DEN-COMPUTER\Desktop is no accessible
    Access is Denied

I would assume this may be the cause? Ideas on how to fix it and/or allow access to it?

Well in case anyone wonders/cares, its fixed now. For some reason, they didn't work because the accounts were set to Limited, instead of admin. Kinda weird but oh well. I was able to delete the unneeded user once it was set to admin.
