user profile service failed the logon

    Ok so my sister calls having a problem with her computer! When she trys to login she gets error message: "The user profile service failed the logon". She is running Vista! Her Grown sons account works just fine but not hers. Curious if there is a simple fix?

    Not usually a simple fix.

    I'd create a new profile for her then copy over her old stuff (not any DAT files - they're likely to be corrupted) into the new profile.

    Once that's fully tested, it should be safe to delete the old profile.
