Using a Huawei as an access point/repeater

Hello all
I was after a bit of advice with help setting up two routers in a house with one, a netgear dg834gv3, as the main one which is connected to the net and a huawei hd521 as the secondary router getting its net from the netgear. I know the netgear may the better option to use as the repeater, but unfortunately the huawei has dodgy wireless so i would rather use that as the secondary one because only person will be connecting to that.
