    Hi all,

This problem is not only mind-boggling to me but also to my service provider TSTT - Telecommunications Service of Trinidad and Tobago and its technical and internet service staff,:confused i don't know if anyone out there can help or ever heard of this but here goes:

I have the Blackberry Curve 8320 bought it in February of this year from TSTT and since then it has been working great. I have on many occasions connected my BB to work as modem with my HP laptop and initially i had no problem surfing the internet was a breeze and all websites were accessible.

Around September of this yr i attempted to connect my BB as a modem as usual and was connected to the server however when i attempted to access some webites i was unable to and kept getting the error message that "Internet Explorer cannot display the website". The websites that i was unable to access were:
    www.cnet.com,
    www.download.com,
    www.https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22 and http://apps.facebook.com/texas_holdem/index.php?fromNav=1

Please note that these are the websites that I regularly visit and have visited and accessed using my BB as a modem before (these are also the site that I have discovered as inaccessible there may be more.) I have been unable to access these websites to date. I am getting other websites like google and majorgreeks thank god!! But definitely not those listed above. I am also able to visit ALL the sites on the BB's brower itself but not when connected as a modem.

So i went into my Service Provider and they tried EVERYTHING. The technician tried out my phone on different computers and laptops to determine whether the problem lied with my laptop yet again on every computer he encountered the same problem, then he tried different BB two BB Pearls another BB Curve and even his own BB device on my laptop and he encounter the same problem of being unable to access the above-mentioned websites. He then thried his phones on the other computers and yet again the problem prevailed. He reset my BB so many times i thought that in itself may harm my phone and yet still no results. He reset my phone on the system and yet nothing. He even disconnected my Firewall and Anti-Virus and attempted to connect to the sites and still got the same error messages.
So as a last resort he connected my BB to my laptop and accessed a free proxy avoidance website and through that website he was able to access some NOT ALL of the above-mentioned website.

So at this time the entire Service Provider Staff are trying to figure this out as it appears its not only my BB does anyone out there have any suggestions or know what may be causing this or have ever heard of this problem? Oh and i did ask if they may have restrictions on the websites you can visit but they said no the Internet Connection is open to all sites. So plzzzzzzz someone anyone HELLLLPPPPP b/c my service provider can't!:cry:cry:cry

    Thanks u for your response,

    Alicia :)
