Using Bitdefender

I was wondering if anyone else has any problems with running Bitdefender? When I tried to run it from the online site, It took about3 hours to fully run?!?! IS this right? Can't be. I can run housecall from Trend micro in less that 10 mins...or less. I had RR internet..not sure what speed but fast enough for me. I have one more Question if it's ok..how do you uninstall IE& if it won't let you? And i can't S/R back to 6. It's not for me...for a "friend".
he don't have a disk to reinstall andi can't remember what he says when he tries to uninstall it.

 

Its entirly possible for bitdefender to take that long, it depends on the state of the computer.

DO you mean you want to uninstall IE7 ?

 

Yeah. he installed it and now he has problems with it. But it won't uninstall because 6 is gone? I'll have to ask him later at work. I told him to come here but i think he is to big a weiner to ask for help....wants to screw it up real bad first! lol

Dell Dimension 5150
3.0 HT CPU
2048 Ram
160 HDD

If you could find out exactly what the problem is uninstalling it that would help He may need his windows disk to restore IE6

 

I'll make him get on here and ask ya'll. But I know he don't have a reinstall disk for his comp...bummer for him! If he had a dell,I could help him. I have three reinstall disks from my old dead computers. And i gotta thank everybody here for all your help......now for some reason , eveyone thinks i'm a computer whiz!?!??? NOw that's FUNNY!!
