using HijackThis

is there a guide to using this program? i was told in the "how to deal with startup processes" located here - http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=149804 to use hijack this to cleanup my startup registry entries. but i have searched the forum and i cannot find any guide to using this. i know how sensitive reg edits can be so i don't want to go any further. ive included the log from my HijackThis scan so if you can help me figure out the next step i would greatly appreciate it.
