Is it possible to use the iPod Touch without iTunes? Can it be synced by any other method?

    Hi

Been waiting for Songbird to become Touch and iPhone compatible, but as Apple changed the way the database the data uses on these devices to signed, the Touch v1 and V2 + iPhone have to use iTunes sadly for all round syncing, other iPods can use various apps as their database is written differently, nto checked all of this info lately so maybe some newer apps but not seen any flagged up in last few months, that support fully the iPod Touch.

MediaMonkey supports audio only on the v1 Touch and iPhone, but not good if you want video and apps etc.

    Story here http://www.mediamonkey.com/news/2008/11/05/new-mediamonkey-306-syncs-with-iphone-3g/

Thanks for that Halo but not much good to me as it still requires iTunes to be on your computer because of some of it's files that mediamonkey needs. Thought I was there for a moment.
