    Since I downloaded Mozilla, can you make me understand why I don't have to Internet Explorer anymore? Would I ever be able to use IE again when I go on to use a website without it disappearing? Thank you Bella

    Yes you would be able to use internet explorer.

    Just a recommendation: I would use firefox (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2248). its a lot faster than mozilla. It also has a built in popup blocker, and it has tabbed browsing.

    To clarify: Mozilla also has tabbed browsing and pop-up blocking. It also has a built-in email/newgroup client, which Firefox does not-- a separate program called Thunderbird complements Firefox in that capacity. Internet Explorer, as of WinXP SP2, has pop-up blocking.

    IE's pop-up blocker is utter crap compared to Firefox's.

    while (1) window.open('telnet://');

    If you click on a link in IE, with that javascript in it, you're gonna have infinite telnet boxes open.

    If you click on it in Firefox, it'll ask if you want to open telnet (yay!), and it'll only limit these scripts to 20 windows (dunno why so many, but it's better than infinite!).

    When more than 1 in 9,999,999 current internet users know what telnet is, then it will be a problem.

    Somewhere on here someone posted a link to a page that had test results from firefox, mozilla, ie and a bunch of others. firefox was the fasted of the browsers.
