using my voice modem to make and recieve calls

hi there this is my spec

windows xp prof
amd 2.8 barton
256 mb ddr ram
realtek on board sound card
basic mike by electronics boutique
zoom v.92 pci voice/fax modem

i would like to know if there is software that can make my modem into a phone with use of my mike and sound card

would appreciate any info

p.s. i am in the U.K.

so it will need to be compatible

have downloades EZVOICE nice little program, however wont let me make calls, which is my main need.

in process of downloading CALLCENTRE will let you know the outcome!

Also have downloaded CALLCENTRE again a very good program will allow me to make calls but the sound will only go through my modem and is not clear enough!

I want the sound to come through my speakers and soundcard

any further help would be of great help

I dont know what software that would work for you, other than a pay for service. I looked for the same a few years ago and had no luck.

The whole idea of a voice modem is it has speaker jacks on the back, so that you can hook up speakers and hear sound on the calls. have you hooked up speakers?

MSN Messenger will allow you to make phone calls, for a price.

 

Have you found a Solution yet? I am looking to do the same exact thing.
