    Howdy Folks!
    Newbie here [sent from Tenforums]
I've been using Group Policy Windows Update Settings to control updates and need advice with WUMT and/or Sledgehammer.
Prior to running Sledgehammer I had one KB update waiting to be downloaded and installed. And separately the Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 waiting for my approval.
    -
Now, after running Sledgehammer, my Windows Update widow tells me:
"Updates paused, Your device won't be up to date while updates are paused. Updates will resume 10/9/2020"
    ...and...
it no longer shows the Feature update 2004 as an option.
    -
I didn't pause updates and the Group Policy settings remain unchanged.
    -
I'm considering disabling the Group Policy Update Settings to - hopefully - allow Sledgehammer/WUMT to take over.

My appreciation goes out to all who read this post and to those who reply with comments/suggestions.

Because people are still getting blue screens on 2004 update.Due to drivers and other issues.

OK, well there are four 2004 systems here, all upgraded from 1909. Not a BSoD in sight. All were stable on 1909 and nothing has changed with 2004. What's your evidence?

3 out of 4 of my systems got BSOD due to watch dog error. With the 2004 update. Never had an issue be for with blue screens.

Fair enough, but it seems this dpc_watchdog error has been around for years and is essentially caused by a driver error and can't really be attributed to Win 10.2004. Must admit one of the first things I do after any Windows version upgrade is check it over with Driver Booster as Microsoft has never been the best place to get the latest drivers. Anyway, we should shut up as none of this really has much to do with the OP's question.
