Using Spotmau

This feels like a really stupid question rolleyes but here goes:

As per your recommendation, I have downloaded Spotmau on the working (accessible) computer to use on the non-working (password protected) computer. I thought I could just burn it to a cd to use with the other computer. When I started to copy it to disc, I got the message that some parts of the software would be lost or destroyed if I continued to copy. So I stopped. I ordered the disc, but thought I could run the software today. Is there something I can do besides just wait for the disc? Again thank you.
