Using VIVO to play PS2 (ATI Multimedia Center)

I've been trying to play my PS2 on my PC using the VIVO jack with S-video adaptor on my ATI X850 XT PE (PCI-E) that's on my Gigabyte nForce4 chipset mobo. So I downloaded ATIs Multimedia Center to capture the input video from the card so I could play.

When I get everything installed, I click on the Video-In tab on the ATI toolbar and then it tells me that DMA isn't enabled on my hard drive and that this will hinder performance, then shows me the video-in feed anyway. It looks fine, but it's a lil delayed from the time I press buttons on my PS2 controller to the time I see the reaction on screen.

I go the the device manager, see that my nVidia drivers don't have a DMA option in the drop-down menu (PIO is there though). So I rollback to Microsofts drivers and enable DMA (if available). The hard drive is a Western Digital SATA 200 GB 7200 RPM (Model WD2000JD).

It doesn't tell me I dont have DMA enabled when I go to capture my video-in anymore, so it must have recognized that... but I'm still getting the delayed reaction on screen. I know people have done this before somehow. Someone give me some help with this please. It would be much appreciated.

P.S.- I also have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 that does the same thing when I plug the PS2 in though that also.

Just for anyone's reference who's had this problem; there's a program I found called DScaler that is good at sending Live feed from video capture cards and sending it to the monitor without any lag or delay. I've fixed the problem with delay, but now I've trying to tweak the picture as it doesn't look that great on my SyncMaster 997df CRT... yet. I think if I get a component cable for my PS2 and use that with 1080i, then it'l look a lot better. I'll post if I can get a hold of one somewhere here in friggin South Korea (where I'm at).

Thanks for the help, guys!!
