    Hi,
I was wondering if there is any way to use VLC/Videolan for streaming video instead of quicktime. I have changed the file associations to the best of my knowledge but when I click on links on webpages Firefox/my computer still uses Quicktime to load and play the video instead of VLC.

I prefer VLC because it can open pretty much everything and it doesn't skip like Quicktime does. I wish I knew how I could make VLC work for streaming! All I find in my searches via Google is how to stream video from my computer to the internet when I want the opposite!

    Thanks a lot!
