utility to remove html and carrots

There use to be a free utility at the web address below where you could paste text on it, then remove any hidden html and carrots from email "forwards". It could turn everything into plain text and remove carrots. But now it is gone from that address.

Can anyone recommend a program or another web utility that would do this?

That will get rid of the carets << >> and maybe other stuff.
Don't know about hidden html, though.
Would like to know the answer to this, also, as I cut and paste descriptions that unfortunately contain embedded html links as well. Bazza
