VACATION!!!! :celebrate

After almost a year of disturbingly high levels of stress, I finally have an entire week off work again. Plus this weekend. I'm spending the first evening of my vacation shut in my computer room, listening to freaky goth music, watching random YouTube videos and debating whether I wish to play more of the South Park video game or not.

I had no idea how badly I needed time off until I actually had time to have it. :wine

I'm sorry. It' been a VERY stressful year and time off combined with good vodka leads to uncensored forum posting. You have been warned. It has already started. :major

My apologies for the lack of entertaining posts last night. I will try to make amends later this weekend. I started up South Park: The Stick of Truth to see what all the fuss was about, and figured I'd just play the game a little bit to see what it was like...

... look up a moment later and realized it was way past midnight. Ooops. :-D

 

Enjoy your days off! Sometimes just knowing you don't have to set the alarm does wonders for stress relief, at least for me it does.

Yeah some of those computer games are like a time machine..... a few minutes game time = 3 hours real time rolleyes
Many times I thought I would just play Bioshock, Elder Scrolls, Farcry or Fallout for a couple of hours and suddenly it is 4am and I have to get ready for work in 3 hours rolleyes

Took three weeks off and partied so hard, that I needed a week to recuperate from jetlag, way to much scotch and food.
Nothing like an extended vacation to exhaust one to the point of collapse. :-D

Spending another evening of my vacation in my computer room. I'm playing the South Park video game, sipping vodka-based drinks, and enjoying a complete lack of demands and requests and stress. Life is GOOD right now.

Doing three actually. One with The Guy and mutual friends. One with the same gang plus a few extra, and then I'm in a league at work, with co-workers. Draft in two of the three is on August 24th. Desperately trying to get the draft in the third one to be on a different day...!
