Vancouver vacation tips

ok, so were heading out to vancouver at the end of the month, and was wondering if there is anything i absolutley have to make sure to see when im there. iv been there, but only passing through. well be there for 5 days. what should i do.

Stanley Park is a must. Rainforest within the city. Also go to Whistler! Its about an hour away and beautiful. Ive only been to whistler in the winter time snowboarding but I could only imagine what it lools like now. Just dont feed the bears.

went to whistler last year, or the year before, cant remember, and its more than an hours drive, but we might go up anyway. and the only part of vancouver ive seen is stanley park, but thanks, i guess i can skip those and see everything else

 

Have you been to Squamish? In between Whistler and Vancouver. So its 1.5 hours away then, oops. Go climb The Chief!

 

yeah, thats all nice and good, but im thinking more city stuff.

 

Apparently there is a new attraction called the "Storeum". I guess you would have to be interested in the history of the area. The aquarium is still good, even without the orca. Take a ride on the Skytrain, and take the Seabus to Lonsdale Quay. Browse around Granville Island. Stanley Park has been mentioned already, with good reason. Go shopping on Robson street, and play "spot the celebrity".

Take the Tsawwassen ferry to Victoria, and spend a day or two there. Drink some great beer at Swann's, Spinnakers, or the Canoe club.

 

Go whale watching.

 

May want to Consider taking the ferry over to Sidney on Vancouver Island to see the Buchart Gardens, maybe Victoria as well
