VB .Net Coding

I have all ready look on google for this but there is too much information to sift through, and i cant find exactly what i want.

I have decied to do a fighting based game for my school project. Think a very simple Mortal Kombat.

Does any one know of any sites where i can find the source code to simple VB games. They dont all have to be fighting games, i just want to browse over the code for differnt things so i know what to expect, and so i can get some basic ideas going.

So i am basicly looking for code or full working solutions that i can load into Microsoft VB .net standard edition.
