I had been unable to open any Word document, and the above is one of the error messages I received. After downloading VBE6INTL.DLL from the internet, Word still would not work.

I haven't seen any posts on this, but wanted to let you know that, in my case, the root of the problem ended up being Google Desktop, which had come along with my recently installed e-Trust Internet Security Suite.

Uninstall Google Desktop, and Word worked again.

I hope this helps someone else.

I had the same problems and fixed it by doing the following:
Go to your Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs
Select Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 200? (English)
Then click on the underlined "Click here for Support Information" Then click on the box "REPAIR". This should fix your problem as it worked for me.
