   Hi
   
   I am experiencing problems with avira, I am unable to reinstall it...it says it can't find the vc_red.msi file...at avira forum they say I should install a Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package...I manage to install it, but I am unable to find to where, so I can browse to when reinstalling the avira find the vc_red.msi
   
   Can someone help with this?

   Have you clicked search and put vc_red.msi in the search box?
   Once you find it, look at the path, open windows explorer, go to that path and then place a shortcut to it on your desktop.
   Then try to install Avira and when you get a browse, point it to the shortcut on your desktop.
