Im having problems getting my Outboud to work for vent. When i push my hotkey my name does not turn green and no one can hear me. I have talked with many people to try to get it to work but it woNt. I have screenshot of my attached. I have fiddled with it many times but no worky =/

Outboud?

Did it work at one time?

 

No never worked. I just got a mic

 

What is an "outboud"?

 

I mean getting people able to hear me. Its the hotkey i think but not 100% sure

 

Out of curiosity, is your mic plugged into the proper jack in your soundcard? Also, is the mic enabled within windows?

 

Yes the mic works perfectly, just when i push the hot key for people to hear me in vent it will not activate or w/e. Btw its a laptop

 

Disable any firewall (NIS (Norton Internet Security), or Mcafee) you have, does this work? Are you behind a router? Is this at school, at work, at home?

 

home and no router just hooked up straight to modem. Firewall is off too

What sound card are ye using? Audigy 2 zs?

 

ThAnks for all your time spent but i fiigured it out myself fiddiling lol. i had to uncheck mute microphone/binds on the main vent thing
