verizon email

i can't seem to connect to verizons email server.
any suggestions?

 

Call Verizon support or use another email as a backup and email Verizon.

Or provide more technical information about your predicament.

 

from what i heard about verizon support i really don't feel like waiting hours on the phone.

how do i use another email?

the diagnostics screen says i'm not connected to the email server.
it could very well be a flaw in the diagnostics or it could be a server problem.

i have everything set up per the instructions.

 

Are you trying to access this thru Outlook or Outlook Express or similar app ?
If so, try to get in from the main Verizon Email Web page

If it works from there, you have a configuration issue

It is a good idea to have a spare backup mail.

Sadly there may be a wait time for your isp's tech support, but often you need to call them as they will know things like email outages, and current problems/setups.

 

i can get and send email but the help application keeps telling me i'm not connected with the email server.

A day passed by and we still do not know which specific application you are referring to?

 

okay, i have 3 icons on my desktop, "verizon online help", "search", "home".
when i open the help app. it does a internet check.
the results say i'm not connected to the email servers.

 

Start the regular browser log to this address, http://netmail.verizon.net/

You should see the entry point to Verizon mail put your Id and PW and enjoy.

 

i'm already logged in.
