Verizon FiOS

    Does anyone know what programs Verizon installs on your computer when you get FiOS Internet service? I am switching from Optimum Online to Verizon FiOS. And I know Optimum Online install some thing on my computer to make the Internet work. But it doesn't interfere with anything. I remember when my friend got it a long time ago (DSL) they installed a whole bunch of shit like a web browser and other weird shit. I don't want that. If you know what programs they install can you tell me, and tell me which ones are necessary and which ones aren't.
