Verizon & spam - what can i do?

sorry if this is in the wrong place, but ok, i have verizon dsl and email, i get alot of spam and i mean im wondering if there is anything i can do? i use thunderbird and have looked thru extentions but saw ad blockers and such but thats just not what i need, i want to maybe forward them t verizon so they can take are of it, if thats possible, i know like some places ike paypal or ebay have a "spoof@" u can forward shit to

any help other than get better service ;p

 

i have like 9 addresses, but there are times i forget cuz im tired and use my verizon, which yes i kniow thats what caused it, but anyways i guess nothing i can do but make a new account, ok thanks

 

Verizon is terrible for spam. The worst I've ever had. Usually adding numbers to your email address helps (ie. 2sach225@verizon.net) but this doesn't seem to work at verizon. Thunderbird does let you delete junk mail under Tools menu rather easily, but of course you still have to scan the sender information to make sure your not deleting a message from someone you haven't heard from in a while.

If anyone has any tricks for Verizon I'm still listening. I've never given my primary account name to any site and still get at least 2-3 junk mails a day. And this account name is 10 letters long and unusual. Very annoying.
