Can anyone help enlighten me regarding an aspx question? I have a friend who wants a new host for their site, all of the web pages and files are given to me, the pages are aspx, and the home page goes to default.aspx I understand that the server needs to run asp, thats no problem, but do I have to reconfigure anything to make the site run default.aspx as the home page??? Here is their current site, current host....http://holmberghowe.com/default.aspx

    Thank you everyone!!!

an aspx file actually requires asp.net which is different to asp

By default IIS is configured to use the following as a default page for a directory

    default.aspx
    default.htm(l)
    index.aspx
    index.htm(l)

If you have access to the IIS configuration you can set which files act as defaults and their priority in the 'Documents' tab of the website in question.

If you don't have access to the IIS config then you may be able to set these using the hosts control panel.
