Ok I've only posted on this forum once before, but you guys and gals seem to be pretty helpful. A few weeks ago I find a new CD burning program installed on my computer and figured my sister put it there so I uninstalled it. After I did that my CD drvies weren't being recognized so I opened it up. I'm pretty familiar with the inner workings of computer to the point I can take it apart and put it back together and have it work or put new parts in. Now I checked the connections and they were still connected so I did a system restore and the drives came back. Now getting to my point...My internet keyboard isn't functioning properly. When I press buttons like "Connect" and "Search" a window comes up telling me to reconfigure my keyboard so I go to do it since I figured that upgrading Opera to the newest version did something to it and there's no tab that says "Button". I tried doing a system restore and it didn't work. I'm completely stuck on the problem.

Have you tried going to the device manager select the keyboard and then either re-installing the driver for the keyboard or (if that doesn't work) even deleting it and then rebooting so Windows laods the drivers itself.

I uninstalled the driver then got the message to reboot so I did. System booted and keyboard was installed again and still a no go on the Buttons tab.

Are there any special drivers for your keyboard? Windows will install a default driver, even for fancy keyboards and thus rendering the extra buttons useless.

I'm honestly not sure if there are or where to find that information. Worked perfectly fine when I first got the computer.

Well I got the problem fixed. Ended up just playing around with the trouble shooter and it sent me to the HP site where it had a fix for it. Thanks anyway for all your help.
