I was just surfing some computer related forums when i saw a thread where someone was having problems with AGP, so was told to remove all RAM cards and if they heard a beep the ram was broken:eek: is this the case? so if i turn off my pc and remove my single 512 card and get a beep that means my RAM is broken lol?

    Can you link this info?

    Generally speaking.....

A computer should issue a single, short beep when the POST (Power On Self Test) completes and finds no issues.

When there IS a problem (with RAM or Video cards), a computer will issue a different beep code. What kind of beep and what it means depends on the BIOS of the machine.
