Very Slow Connection

Good Morning!

I live in a rural area where the only high speed connection I can get is via satellite. In addition, the phone company has my line on what they call "go digital". Basically that is when they don't have enough equipment in place so they connect my phone line to another phone line and on and on it goes. So I get (don't laugh) a whopping 28.8 Kbps . I know it won't help much but I am looking for an accelerator that may help give me some kind of boost or if anyone knows of anything else I can do, I would really appreciate your help. Note: I use earthlink however, the propel accelerator doesn't offer much help.

go to cablenut.com Try cablenut. Hit the forums and poke around a bit. I went to the extra trouble of doing some work. Posted in the forums the settings I had, and someone posted what I needed to set my cablenut at. All I can say is WOW!!

Oh once you put in the settings there will be allot of numbers to put in. Go to the top of the adjuster, go to file, save settings, put it on your desktop. That way you have a nice backup of your settings all the time. I have that setting plus I made my own at this site, http://j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php . Try them both and see what happens. Made a huge diffrence on my connection.

Okey Dokey, I tried cablenut but am still running very, very slow. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
