I have 3 computers in my house on a network. All 3 use XP SP2. All 3 use the same printer. When I go to print a packing slip from Paypal's web site....it looks good on screen, in the "print preview" it looks good, but when I print it, the top line where it says "PAYPAL" is OK, but every line after that prints in a MUCH smaller font size. Basically what I see in "print Preview" is not what really prints. When I access the same page with the other 2 computers and print on the same printer, eveything is fine. All Windows settings are identical in all computers. All updates are current, no viruses, no spyware.
The problem only appears on 1 computer (mine) and only on that one web page. I'm at my witts end trying to figure this out. Anyone have any ideas??? Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

On your machine, have you gone into your printer's properties>advanced tab>printing defaults and reset back to default settings?
(I assume you have since you mentioned that Windows settings are identical on all machines).

Possibly try and reinstall the drivers for the printer on the machine having problems. I have seen some issues when using a web based update tool for printers. For some reason it messes up the fonts or the ability to print at all when it tries to load the update.

    - I have set the printer's settings bach to default.
    - I have used the recommended Windows XP drivers, uninstalled them, used the original drivers, uninstalled them and used Canon's latest drivers. All scenarios yield the same results.

The strange thing is that when I overlay one printed sheet over another, the magins stay the same, the "PAYPAL" name is in the same place, same font, same size. Every subsequent line line prints in a 6 pica font size. The original used to print (and shows) in a 12 font size.

Interesting, how confident are you about IE settings being identical, since you played enough with the drivers and the fact that you are printing from IE, I have a feeling it might be an IE setting:

Try these (even they might sound simple):
Internet Options > Advanced > (under 'Printing') > make sure the box 'Print background colors and images' option is selected.
also on IE's menu > File > if ' Work Offline' is selected, try unselecting it.

Additionally, are you trying to print the page using the Print button on the browser's toolbar/on the 'Print Preview' page or using the menu; File > Print?

For testing purposes you could print to a 'file' save it somewhere that you could find, then open that .prn file with notepad and search for keyword 'font' using F3 and see what font was noted.
