    Hi guys,

I have Windows 7 64 bit on my machine, latest version of Explorer. A few days ago, whenever I go to amazon.com or amazon.co.uk, my computer refuses to go back with the "back" arrow. Just sits there when you click the arrow. Works fine on my laptop so it's not the site. This only happens on Amazon, no other sites and it's driving me crazy! Has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I have read of others complaining about the back/forward not functioning correctly on IE9, they were general observations (complaints) though, not site-specific. Could it be to do with secure vs non-secure pages? What happens if you click and hold the back/forward button, any dropdown list of previously loaded pages?

Hi jeffncris and welcome to MG's,

Do you get the same issue with a different browser? it could be that you have malware/infection also! or it could be that IE9 just doesn't like that site, though I am using it and can change window with no problems. Try with a different browser and if the issue is not there then i would do a virus scan to see if that pulls anything out, you could also try clearing out the tempfiles and cookies, do you have Ccleaner??....

on the cleaner page just hit the "run cleaner" button and this will clean out the cookies and tempfiles. Ccleaner is safe to use as long as you do not tamper with any of the settings, just leave things how they are set, you can run the registry tool also, but save the files when prompted as this is a security back up just incase something gets deleted by mistake and can be easly put back.
