I would like to share it with you. . .

A critical bill affecting veterans is sitting in the Veterans Benefits Subcommittee. H.R. 3492 would allow Disabled Veterans to pursue needed disability benefits by allowing them to obtain an attorney to represent them while filing claims for disability benefits. The Veterans' Right to an Attorney Act would prohibit a fee from being charged, allowed, or paid for attorneys' services with respect to veterans' benefits claims at any time before the date on which the Board of Veterans' Appeals first makes a final decision in the case. Hi Jarcher,

It is sad to see that our disabled veterans now need lawyers to get them their deserved disability benefits. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. Not a day passes that I don't see one of these Support Our Troops signs. Yeah, that's great - But what about supporting our VETERANS? This current administration seems all too happy to ride to glory on the backs of our brave fighting men and women and then forget about them. What ticks me off the most is that Bush wants to cut V.A. benefits and close V.A. hospitals. That's a fine thank you! Maybe if he had experienced combat firsthand, he'd be more understanding.

I'm with you on this one, my friend. Hope all works out for the best!
