Vga Display Adaptors, Im Lost And Lonely In A World Of It

OK, SO WHAT IVE DONE SO FAR IS THIS

I HAVE TRIED TO REINSTALL VGA DISPLAY, NO JOY ALWAYS GOES BACK TO STANDARD VGA.Video Adapter Properties
Device Description Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)
Installed Drivers vga.drv


HAVE USED AIDA32 TO CHECK CHIPSET, Chipset Properties
Motherboard Chipset Intel 82440ZX

WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW. ALSO I HAVE 3Dfx Voodoo3 (3Dfx Voodoo3 2000) Video Adapter, 3Dfx Voodoo3 3D Accelerator

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO NOW, AS NO MATTER WHAT I DO I CANNOT REGAIN 32 TRUE COLOUR.

You might not want to type in Caps, its considered to be SHOUTING and VERY VERY RUDE!!

Wow a Voodoo, thats a relic! What OS are you using? as they dont run well on 200 or XP, if you can even get it working at all.

http://www.voodoofiles.com/3dfxhelp.asp used to be good for Voodoo drivers, download the one for your card there, although 3DFX who made your card have been a dead company for a good 4-5 years now.

 

Sounds like you need to install the video drivers for your voodoo card. What version of windows do you have ? Do you have the drivers for your video card ?
If not you can download them from here (Click?) But these are only for windows 95/98/ME. If you are running windows XP they will not work.

You think thats a relic, i extracted the hard drives from a P2 that had MMX and an atirageII to put it in this casing.

Anyway, have been to Voodoo files, all the mirrors are broken cant download drivers.

Bit stuck at mo. anything else

im running windows 98se, but cant find voodoo files as mirrors all broken at the voodoo site. oh well,
