vga gios

    i want to fiddle with my graphic card bios (geforce mx 400). i've got x-bios editor. what else programs do i need?
    how do i make a copy of my current one, and how can i upload a new one?

    answear please.

    you can save and edit in x-bios.

    It doesn't seem to work on the fx cards but the rest no problem.

    Open x-bios.....next to the open file click the arrow
    click READ FROM MEMORY.

    Then a screen will come up with all the info on your card.

    Then click the floppy that has SAVE written under it. (old.rom)

    OK now close x-bios and re-open.......click open (it should be A:\old.rom) edit away. rememer to change the speed in every box that has the speed in it right now.

    Save and close
