Via Km266/8235

i have a KM266 Pro motherboard i bought at the flea market last weekend. well i put it in a case and pushed the power but nothing happens all that comes on is the cpu fan case fan and thats it no sounds from the hdd nothing on the screen no beeps (there might be a beep but no speaker in the case) does anyone know what i might of done wrong with it?
