Via s3g mk400/kn400

    Just recently, last 3 to 4 weeks, I've been getting a "Found new hardware" message at startup telling me that it's just found the VIA S3G MK400/KN400. As I understand that these are pretty fundamental components, can it really have forgotten that hey were there? Do I need to look for a new driver? If I ignore it and Cancel then things seem to work pretty much OK, if I tell it to find the software then it can't.
    Any suggestions welcome.

    Video Drivers? what OS are you using and do you use onboard graphics, or agp/pci express card? also, check your device manager for any items with a ! or ? next to it.
