    Hi all
I hope someone can help me out.
I just recently started having this problem.
I did have to reinstall my OS
I cannot use my CD burner or my USB port
I have an Award Software BIOS
    ROM PCI/ ISA BIOS (2A5LEF09)
    (os) windows me
In my system devices I have a flag:
Device: VIA Tech 82C586B (PIPC) PCI to ISA bridge
    No resources used.

    Problem is:
Windows could not load the driver for this device because the computer is reporting two ISA PNP. VXD Bus Types
    (code 2)

Contact your computer manufactuer to get an updated BIOS for your computer.

Can someone tell me what is going on???????

I would only ever flash the Bios if it addressed a specific issue I was having, and even then with extreme care.

PCI to ISA bridges are controlled by drivers, so an educated guess would be to install the latest compatible motherboard drivers, especially when it comes to VIA chipsets.
