Vice City cinnematic audio

can someone tell me the path to the audio for the cinnematics in vice city?

I get radio stations from disc 2 but for some reason the game won't play the voices when i get to a cinnematic.

i was hoping i could just open the audio from the disc manually (alt tab out of the game) and listen to what the mission is so i have some idea of what the heck im doing on the missions

my computer meets all the specs for vice city

 

I'm pretty sure the voices are stored in archived binary data files. In other words you can't open them directly. If you actually have all the disc's then you should be trying to figure out why the voices arn't playing. You won't find them directly on the disc though.

Are you sure it's not somethign stupid like the voice volume is turned way down?

I was wrong. With vice city they did infact just package them separately as mp3 files. They are simply located in the Audio sub dir. It's quite easy to find. But I don't think it will help you much. There is over 1200 diffrent clips. You won't be able to just easily open the one you want to hear.

 

i dont have that many i only have like 800 but thats jus a guess

If its a copied game the files could have been removed to get round the anti piracy

 

Some morons actually remove "unnecessary" files to reduce the size when spreading pirate copies. The voice files could have been a victim of this.
