    Greetings all!

    I have an opportunity to purchase a pretty nice video card and I was wondering if my system will run it.

    Here's a link to the card;

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gtx_260_us.html

    My system specs are;

    Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz single core processor
    Biostar Socket 478 P4M900-M4 motherboard
    2 GB PC5300 (667 MHz) Generic RAM
    Rite Star Dual Fan 680W Power Supply

    My current vid card is a Geforce 7300 GS 512 MB and I use an HP w17e wide screen 17" LCD monitor

    Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

    Your system should be able to run it however two things

    That CPU will severely bottleneck the card for games. Would look into a new system if you really want to use the GFX card for games.

    Also that PSU is very low quality. I would change it out for a better PSU if I ran the card.

    Thanks for the info! My board is pretty much maxxed out where the CPU is concerned, so I'm probably looking at a new build if I get this video card. Would a RAM upgrade help any? I can go another 2 GB on it.

    I would get a new machine before I buy the card.
