Video camera questions.

Going to get a video camera for the laptop soon so i can have video conference with loved ones moving to Japan. Just don't know exactly how this works. Do i have to be on-line or on a certain web site like paltalk? Or can it simply work like a phone?

 

you will have to be online, your camera will hook up via a usb port on the side of your laptop, software will come with the camera. you will need to use a messenger[like windows messenger] or any of your choice, plus many other programs. hope this helps. ed
