Video cameras

    So I was wondering if anyone knows of either:

    of a low priced really AWESOME Consumer Video Camera
    or of a Really low priced AWESOME Pro Video Camera


    I need a new one bad

    Video camera as in filming family, or a security type camera?

    For security/observation, try Harbor Freight. Marlin P Jones & Associates also sells reasonably priced security cameras too. Will have to google them as they may have changed their URL. It might still be http://www.mpja.com. Or possible Menards as they sell security/observation cams too.

    Whats the budget? and would HD recording be a must?

    Flip camcorders get good reviews for the price http://www.theflip.com/en-us/ (they recored in 720p HD)
