I asked a knowledgeable friend of mine his opinion concerning a video capture card for a Hi8 camcorder that I use. He recommended cards from the ATI All-In-Wonder series. He said that they are full featured and high quality and will accomplish exactly what I am looking to do. Anybody have any differing opinions? Anybody have experience with the All-In-Wonder cards?

    Thanks in advance...

Not used one, but some friends do and really sing their praises as to quality and cost effectivness of these ATI AIW for day to day video editing, if your friend is knowledgable in that area of video capture then I would go with his recomendation, if he or another friend actually has one, then I wonder if they will let you sample the quality with some of your captured video?

What is it you actually want to do in regards to video capture?

also do some searching for reviews on the All in Wonder Cards.
