I am trying to run a DVI or component line into my computer to record off my Home theater DVD player or Cable TV, The closest thing I can find that will work is the Radeon ATI 9800 wonder card, but that has neither the componet or DVI input, only S video.

    Anybody have any idea's?

    TIA

I looked at the NVIDIA card and it appears to do about the same as the 9800 wonder card.
I did have someone point out that the 9800 has a cable IN connection, and I could split the incoming cable signal, sending one to the receiver and one to the video card.
Recording the movies off the DVD could be done after watching them on the DVD burner of the computer.
Had a bit of a "duh" moment.....:)

    Thanks
    Al
