video card and monitor not working

okay recently i was having some monitor problems but i cleared it up and it was nothing
(a bit embarrasing really)

and i cant seem to run any games or programs that require a good bit of video card requirments w/o the computer screen shutting off and a blinking green light coming on

any thoughts?

well the text and all is readable but the folders and all that have that pasted on look to em.
sorry i can get a better picture any ideas where i can post for better quality?

 

make sure all your drivers are up to date and check your resolution and colors.

 

Download EVEREST to assist in updating your motherboard, chipset and video drivers.

Also make sure you are using the latest DirectX.

 

i cant even get on it anymore w.o the screen crashing and the computer freezing so i havent a clue of the problem.

 

im also not even able to access the internet or anything. i can however select which user i want, goto boot menu, etc....
