I'm going to be getting a new video card so I was thinking a GTX 275 and that new psu mentioned on another post. Here is my question

I see alot of people having a video card and then another lower end video card for dedciated physics such as gtx260 + 9800gt dedciated phyics

What do you think of GTX 275 + 9800gt for physics would it be a waste of power?

Could you explain what you mean by "video card for dedciated physics". Is there a video card for dedciated chemistry or a video card for dedciated botany? :confused

    Hi

Personally just get a Nvidia card that has dedicated PhysX (which the 275GTX has built in already), but just to clarify what would you be running that would need a seperate card to handle PhysX?

Well if I get a new video card I have a 9800gt that will just be going to waste.

Waste of power IMO, and there are only a few games that actually use Physx. There is a list here, if you don't any of these games its pointless to have another card just for physics.
