Video card comparison....

Whudduy'all think?????
NVidia GeForce FX5700 256mb vs. ATI Radeon X1300 256mb
Both are AGP cards.......
I'm currently using the GeForce, and I have access to the Radeon as a possible swap.... Is it worth it? I don't really do much gaming, but I am planning on a dual boot with my current XP Pro SP2 and Vista and was wondering which video card is more Vista friendly.....

for vista friendliness id have to go with the x1300 though in terms of gaming performance id have to say they are close to the same

 

I think the X1300 has a bit more 'ooomph' for gaming as well as for Vista. My friend (the card's previous owner) says he thought it was running hot and that it may have been the cause of occassional PC lock up. I'm gonna install it on a different PC (not mine ) and see how it behaves before I put it in my tower. In the meantime.... anybody else have input on the Geforce FX5700 versus the Radeon X1300???

I've always been more of a NVidia man on the whole, so even if the ATI card is better, I'll probably keep the FX5700 as it's been 100% reliable and problem free from day one.

 

yea, id rather stick with the fx5700 too, ATI is the devil! lol
