Video card driver

Hi

I have an pcie ( i think) graphics cards which was given to me by a mate.

he didnt give driver disk with it tho, cant complain as it was free

It is a green card with a fan on it andvga,dvi, and s-video out.
The label has the following markings but I don't really know what they mean or how to find the correct driver.

HD4650 650M 512MB DDR2 DVI TV PCI-E

S/N K9H069200


Can someone help please, it would be mery much appreciated?

That's most likely an ATI Radeon HD4650. You might try drilling through the details at the AMD site to find the correct Catalyst package for your operating system and card.

Maybe I can help: what operating system, architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) and Service Pack number are you running?

 

Hi , That would be great if you could. The pc is running xp sp3

 

If your architecture is 32-bit, then try this download - if 64-bit, then this one. Your specs should be displayed on your Control Panel > System Properties page.

Make sure that you reboot your machine after downloading and installing the correct package.
