Hi. I have an onboard video card without an s-video out plug attachment. I do not have any AGP slots or PCIe slots. fortunately, I do have regular PCI slots. I would like to watch shows I downloaded via computer on my television. I have submitted sys summary txt on my latter posts. Can anyone please be kind and help me resolve this issue. Thank you. maryhigginsrice

Well, Mary, this is basically a duplicate post. This is really part of the same issue your raised in http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=94009.

Are you absolutely sure you do not have either AGP or PCIe slots? Exactly what model is that eMachines computer?

If you don't have AGP or PCIe slots, then your only option is to install a PCI card; that's straight PCI, not PCI Express. You'll have to buy a PCI card with a TV-Out connector. Here's one online seller: PCI Video Cards .

But, before you buy PCI video card, I think this question needs to be answered. Is that eMachines capable of receiving TV signals? I gather you captured/recorded TV programs on your Dell. Right? How were you doing that with your Dell?

Actually, I wondering, wouldn't a VCR be the solution here? What's the reason for capturing/recording TV programs on your computer and then playing them back on a TV?
