video card(how do i know)

    i want to buy a new agp video card and i know my motherboard does not support DDR2 ram memory but how do i know if it supports ddr2 video cards or not???

    A video card uses the ram it has on board and has no relation to the type of ram your pc uses . Post specs or model # of pc and we may be able to help more

    As ibbonkers said: the RAM on a video card has no relation to or effect on the RAM on your motherboard.
    NO! You can only use a processor that is compatible with your motherboard. There are many different socket types, and even CPU's with the same name don't necessarily use the same socket. For example: an Athlon64 can be a socket 754 or 939; a Pentium 4 can be a socket 478 or 775. And so on. Judging from your specs, you have an older PC, a socket 478 Intel based motherboard. But without the exact model and make of the motherboard, we can't suggest a possible upgrade. Use PCWizard or Everest to find out who made the motherboard, and the model number.
