so long as you're not an FPS freak it should be OK ... I wouldn't expect to play games at more than mid settings but if you're not picky it should be fine ... also depends on the game .. I could run wolfenstein just fine on integrated graphics(at low settings) .. obviously you're not going to be able to play far cry(or the like) at anything but low settings either

then again looking at what tomshardware says .. you're not going to be able to play far cry at all

But the 5500 is an old slow card it sucks but you may be able to stick a faster card in,if its an agp 8 board. :D

I guess I should have come here first. My current game computer has a 128 meg card and does well on far cry and half life. So this card at 264 meg won't play these games any better, darn I needed a extra video card anyway. I don't want to put a crappy card in a 3800+
Should I take my nvidia or my ATI and stick it in there (new computer) and put the new(card) one back into the old computer. No I can't remember the model #'s of the the ati and nvidia but they are both 128's and both decent cards.

I have to agree, the FX5500 is a bit of a dog, even my old 5200 Ultra whips its standard 200mhz clcok speed. get a 6600 its the only way :)

250 mhz clock speed what ever that means, I just read the specs. Since I really don't know any better  it will probably work good for me HEHEHEHE
